User Data Deletion Instructions

Matjar respects your right to control your personal data. This page explains how you can request the deletion of your personal information from Matjar’s platform, including data associated with any third-party account you may have connected (such as Facebook, Instagram, Google, TikTok, or Snapchat).

Who This Applies To

• Merchants who have created a Matjar store account.
• Customers who have placed an order or created an account on a Matjar-powered store.
• Individuals who authorized a connection between Matjar and a third-party platform (e.g. via Facebook Login or a similar OAuth flow) and wish to have that connection’s associated data removed.

How to Request Deletion

Option 1: Self-Service (Recommended)

1. Log in to your Matjar account.
2. Go to Account Settings → Privacy → Delete My Data.
3. Confirm your request. You will receive an email confirmation once processed.

Option 2: Email Request

If you do not have account access, or need to request deletion of data related to a connected third-party account, email us at: support@matjar.online.

Please include:

• Your full name.
• The email address or account associated with your Matjar account.
• If applicable, the third-party platform you connected (e.g. Facebook/Instagram, Google, TikTok, Snapchat) so we can also remove any related synced data and revoke the corresponding access token.

What Happens When You Request Deletion

• We will verify your identity/ownership of the account before processing the request.
• Personal information associated with your account will be deleted or anonymized from our active systems within 30 days of a verified request.
• If you requested deletion in connection with a third-party integration (e.g. Facebook Login), we will also revoke Matjar’s stored access token for that connection, so Matjar no longer has access to that platform’s data on your behalf.
• Some information may be retained where required by law (for example, transaction records needed for tax or accounting compliance) or to resolve disputes, but such data will no longer be used for any other purpose.
• Deletion of Merchant account data may also result in the removal of associated product catalogs from any connected third-party platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, Snapchat), since Matjar will no longer have authorization to manage that data.

Automated Deletion via Facebook

If you connected Matjar using Facebook Login and prefer to revoke access directly from Facebook (in addition to, or instead of, contacting Matjar):

1. Go to your Facebook Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites.
2. Find Matjar in the list of connected apps.
3. Select Remove.

This immediately revokes Matjar’s access to your Facebook data. To also request deletion of any data Matjar has already stored, please additionally follow the steps above.
